How to Root the Samsung Galaxy Ace (S5830)

The Samsung Galaxy Ace is (now) a low-end device that was released in February 2011 and came with features like 3.5-inch touchscreen display, HSDPA network support, an 800MHz processor, and a 5MP camera.  Not bad, but if you want something more from this, rooting, installing ClockworkMod Recovery and flashing a custom ROM is the way to go.  This guide below will help you get that first step out of the way – rooting the Galaxy Ace.

I.  Before You Begin

1.  Back up everything you feel is important.
2.  Make sure you have your device charged to 75% or more before you begin.

II.  Necessary Downloads

root galaxy ace.zip [Download link / alternative link]

III.  Rooting the Galaxy Ace

1.  Connect your device to your PC in USB Mass Storage Mode and copy the root galaxy ace.zip to your SD card.
2.  Disconnect your device and shut it down.
3.  Press and hold the Home button + Power button and let them once your device boots into recovery mode.
4.  Use the Volume Up and Down keys to highlight to apply update from sdcard and press the home button to select it.
5.  Locate and select root galaxy ace.zip to flash the file.
6.  Once you see the install from sdcard complete message, highlight and select reboot system now.

How to Root Samsung Galaxy S Plus GT-I9001 Official ROM

Rooting Samsung Galaxy S Plus GT-I9001 is not so difficult process. In fact it is very short process and you can root your Samsung Galaxy S Plus with very less effort.

 The steps of rooting Samsung Galaxy S Plus can be explained below:

Step 1:

Copy the rooting zip file into the main folder of your internal sd card(Donot copy it inside any folder). Download the rooting zip file from here. (you donot need to extract that zip file)

Step 2:

First switch off your mobile and then put your phone into recovery mode. Recovery mode can be accessed by plugging data cable and holding Volume Up button and Power button until it shows Samsung galaxy s plus logo. After then the android box will appear and then after press the MENU button(the first left touch button beside HOME button).

Step 3:

  1. Select install zip from sd card
  2. Choose Root-i9001-Signed.zip
  3. Choose YES
  4. Choose Reboot system now
  5. Your phone will reboot and under your apps menu you will see Superuser app.
